This app keeps as little from you as possible. Everything you need for the reading, the xematiasma, and your journal lives on your phone. If you delete the app, it all goes with it.

What stays on your device

Your first name, optional birthday and names you love, your heritage (mainland / Cretan / Cypriot / diaspora), the bead you chose, and the journal of your diagnoses and rituals. These live on your phone and nowhere else.

What we send out

Anonymous usage events to Mixpanel (for example: when a reading starts, its verdict, whether you tried the subscription). These never include your name or birthday.

Payment details are handled by RevenueCat via Google Play — they never reach us.

Dream and cup readings (AI)

When you ask for a dream interpretation — or, later, a coffee-cup reading — the words you type (or the photo of your cup) are sent to an AI service (Google Gemini) through our own secure server, which adds the reading and sends it back. We do this only to produce your reading. Your text and photos are processed in memory and are not stored on our server, not saved to your account, and not used to train any model. Your dream entries are kept only on your phone, in your journal. The legal basis is performance of the service you asked for (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). You can avoid this processing entirely by simply not using the dream or cup-reading features.

The readings themselves are written by AI, in the voice of a fictional character — they are folk tradition for reflection, not advice or fact.

Notifications

Every notification is scheduled locally on your phone. We do not run a server that pushes messages to you.

Your rights (GDPR)

You can delete everything from Settings → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible — it wipes all local data and cancels every scheduled notification.

You can export your journal on request by emailing admin@aplilogic.io. We'll return your data in machine-readable JSON within 30 days.

Children

Mati is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has used the app, contact us and we will delete any retained analytics records on request.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll update the "last updated" date and surface a notice in the app. Minor changes happen silently.
